We have a fully integrated online repeat prescription ordering system.
To enable you to use the online system you must first go into the surgery to register for the use of this facility. You will be given a login and password. The facility will then be available to you.
Click the link above to order your repeat prescriptions.
This system can only be used for medication which your GP has prescribed and arranged repeat ordering for. You cannot request medication for a new problem.
Place your order any time - your prescription will be available for collection within 2 working days.
Should you need to order an urgent prescription, these requests need to be in before 10:30. This then gives us time to process and the prescription will be ready at 17:30 on that day. Please do not abuse this service and order your repeat prescriptions in a timely manner, with 48 hours notice.
The practice policy for collection of a controlled drug is that all prescriptions have to be signed for either by the patient who is required to provide photographic identification (preferably a passport or driving licence on collection.
If the patient is unable to collect a controlled drug and wishes to nominate a representative, the representative should present with a signed letter from the patient and a photographic form of identification, preferably a passport or driving licence.
Controlled drugs will only be given out under these circumstances.
Help with NHS costs
In England, around 90% of prescription items are dispensed free. This includes exemptions from charging for those on low incomes, such as:
These charges apply in England only. In Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales prescriptions are free of charge.
If you will have to pay for four or more prescription items in three months or more than 14 items in 12 months, you may find it cheaper to buy a PPC.
There is further information about prescription exemptions and fees on the NHS website.
