Quality Practice Award

The Royal College of General Practioners will be visiting the Practice on Wednesday 22nd February 2012.

Your doctor and primary health care team are taking part in an assessment of the quality of care they provide.  This assessment is being carried out in collaboration with the Royal College of General Practitioners.  An assessment team will visit the practice.  The team will consist of GPs, other practice staff and possibly lay persons.  As part of the assessment, members of the team will need to look at a sample of patients’ records in order to assess the quality of record keeping and patient care in the practice.

All members of the assessment team have a duty of confidentiality.  No personal information will be passed on to any other person by any member of the assessment team.

All patient information recorded for the purposes of RCGP assessments will be fully anonymised.
